<p>Adele Hendricks, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, has been living in San Diego for 45 years. After retiring from corporate life in 2008, she met and began painting instruction with local artist Catherine Grawin. Catherine was an inspiration for Adele and a wonderful teacher of Alla Prima oil painting. Adele studied for 6 years with Catherine, until Catherine’s death. Since then Adele continues to pursue her passion for painting. She uses paint to render the beauty she finds in everyday life. All of Adele’s paintings are of subjects dear to her heart as she paints from feeling as much as from sight.</p>

<p>Adele has won several awards at the San Diego Fair and various galleries and competitive venues. Her work is collected by numerous patrons. She has been an active member and student at the CG studio in Leucadia.</p>
